You are all invited to SCMAS's Annual Frag Swap and Membership Drive. Feel free to bring your frags or used equipment to sell or trade. If you don't have frags, just come to check out the corals and equipment, buy, or just hang out with other friendly hobbyist. Once again we are looking forward to a great year bringing more speakers, more activities, and more fun! We hope to see you all there and hopefully you will be enticed into joining SCMAS.

Aquarium Keeper, business man, lover of all things aquatic - Jeremy Howell of Brightwell Aquatics and Continuum Aquatics will be presenting at this month’s meeting. Jeremy’s topic of choice will be “Maximizing Coral Growth and Coloration Through Supplementation.” Jeremy is an industry veteran with many years of experience in the aquatic field. He started young working at ’Tis Tropicals, then built custom installations for Casco group in the early 90’s. Following that he worked for Kent Marine for 10 years. Jeremy then founded Blue Life USA a remedies based aquarium product company helping hobbyists get rid of aquarium pests and keeping our tanks clean and clear.

Guest Speaker: Caitlin Lee Topic: The Importance of Captive Breebing
Caitlin Lee has a deeply rooted passion for marine life. Her first job was at a local fish store scrubbing aquariums and befriending moray eels. As a regular blogger on popular online reef-centric publications, her writings have covered a wide range of aquatic subjects. Caitlin moderated a video web series that brought together industry leaders to discuss many important topics. Her passion for the aquarium trade has led her to Quality Marine, where she creates media that highlights their industry leading commitment to sustainability through captive breeding and net-collected fishes. Caitlin currently operates Reef Musings, a blog devoted to covering the beauty and mystery of the ocean.
